Winston Duke was a bit wasted as Umkaku, disappointed by what he did at the end There is no reason for it to be as long as it is. Then again, I didn't think Black Panther should have got a nomination for Best Picture, so she could get one. Letitia Wright and Angela Bassett are both good, but I'm not sure where this Oscar nomination talk is coming from. I thought the Marvel logo was a nice touch. When I heard there was a cameo, I expected it to be someone at the funeral. Disappointed not to see at least, Bucky there. The Chadwick Bosman stuff was touching, but I expected more. That said I probably had more fun with those two. It's a better put together movie than both Thor: Love & Thunder and Doctor Strange & The Multiverse of Madness, and there is no sense it was butchered in the editing room, like both of those movies. It remains to be seen what is next for Namor following his introduction in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but the character and his culture represent a very interesting addition to the MCU that fans have never seen before.I just got out of Black Panther I found it pretty underwhelming. Considering how positively Namor and his kingdom have been received, however, fans can rest assured that they haven't seen the last of either of them just yet. Without a solo film, Talokan is, unfortunately, not likely to be explored in much more detail than it was in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Both of the upcoming Phase 6 Avengers movies are expected to serve as the climactic installments of the Multiverse Saga, meaning the films could feature an "all hands on deck" sequence akin to the end of Avengers: Endgame when heroes from near and far assemble to defeat Thanos alongside Chris Evans’ Captain America. If he doesn't appear in Thunderbolts, which, frankly, is probably the case considering how many characters that movie already has to juggle, then Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars remain the two projects most likely to feature Namor's return. Unfortunately, much like with the Hulk, Universal owns the distribution rights for Namor, meaning the character is unlikely to be getting his own solo film anytime soon.
